After years of requests for a more private inn, The St. Francisville Inn is proud to open The Royal, a timeless masterpiece built in 1780. Nestled in a picturesque setting, The Royal offers unparalleled privacy and is open to registered guests only (there is no public restaurant or bar). The Royal submerges you in a luxury setting found nowhere else in Louisiana, complete with your own butler. Here, you will find hand curated breakfasts each morning, gourmet coffees, custom (complimentary) champagne cocktails at check-in, and two complimentary cocktails during Martini hour. As The Royal is affiliated with The St. Francisville Inn, guests will also enjoy full privileges there as well, including preferential reservations at The Saint Restaurant, Bar, and pool. The Spa at The Inn is our new luxury, uni-sex spa based on highly effective, all natural products.

The Royal Inn: Dahlia
The Dahlia Room is very English and includes a dresser, TV seating areas overlooking the fountai, armoire with complimentary mini-bar and coffee station, and an enormous bathroom with heated floor, heated towel rack, heated bidet, oversized shower, and proper dressing table with sink. The Royal Inn: Hollyhock
Hollyhock Room is our most popular, likely because it is wrapped by screened porches on two sides and is exceptionally open and bright. Hollyhock offers lighter colours, ample storage, TV, a comfortable seating area, armoire with complimentary mini-bar and coffee station, and a bathroom with heated floor, heated towel rack, heated bidet, glass walk-in shower, and sink. The Royal Inn: Indigo
The Indigo Room offers richer tones, a faux marble fireplace, writing desk, ample storage, a retractable TV cabinet, multiple seating areas, armoire with complimentary mini-bar and coffee station, and an enormous bathroom with heated floor, heated towel rack, heated bidet, oversized shower, and enormous dual sink counter with plenty of space for two. Coffee Service begins at 8 am. Guests may check in around the clock.
Minimum Age: The minimum age to stay for staying with us is 18.
Check-in/Check-out times: Check-in is 3 PM. Check-out is 11 AM.
Smoking Policy: We are a 100% smoke/vape/tobacco product free inn & property.
Cancellation Policy: If a reservation is cancelled more than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, any deposit received thus far is returned to the credit card on file less a $50 cancellation fee. If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date, no cancellation fee is charged and any deposits received will become an in-house credit which the customer has one year to use anywhere in the hotel, including restaurant or bar.
Cell Phone Usage: Cell phones are only allowed in guest rooms.
Pets: Only registered seeing eye dogs are allowed.
Miscellaneous: Ice coolers/ chests are not allowed in the inn. Secure refrigeration for medications will be provided on request.
Breakfast: Coffee is available in each room. Coffee service in the inn begins at 8 a.m., and a curated breakfast is served promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Visitors: Unlike The St. Francisville Inn, The Royal is not open to the public at any time. It is very private. Only registered guests are allowed on property. Registered guests who wish to meet with visitors & friends are welcome to do so at The St. Francisville Inn. All un-registered guests will promptly be asked to leave.
